One of the smartest women in the adult film industry is Stormy Daniels. Coming from a lower-income household, this self made successful pornstar is the Cinderella story when it comes to erotic films. Stormy Daniels (also known as Stormy and Stormy Waters) was a stripper in gentleman's clubs when after becoming a feature dancer, one night she met Devon Michaels. Devon Michaels asked Stormy Daniels to accompany her to her next porn shoot and she excitedly accepted. From there, she started doing lesbian scenes for Wicked pictures and won the 2004 AVN award for Best New Starlet. She started directing shortly after and her train has kept on rolling ever since. She has won Best Director awards amongst the over 30 awards that she has under her belt over the last 5 years of her career. She has even crossed over into more mainstream markets like Ron Jeremy has done, playing supporting roles in Hollywood blockbusters like "Knocked Up" and starring in music video's and TV shows. Their is even a group that is trying to get her elected into office for the state of Louisiana, her home town, and she has said that if elected she would retire from the porn industry. I'm not sure what to root for here but it's definitely a win win situation for Stormy Daniels.
